When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

How long do we retain your data?
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Data you supply for a mediation or dispute resolution assignment:
Any data supplied for a mediation or dispute resolution case will be retained for a maximum of 6 weeks after the data of the mediation. This is so that we have the information to refer to if there are any queries relating to the mediation settlement agreement. Once this period has been reached all information relating to the mediation with the exception of the date of the mediation, the nature (type) of dispute and the mediation result (resolved on day/ resolved within a month of the mediation / not resolved) will be deleted.
Information relating to the mediation / dispute resolution will be held in google a email account which has multi-factor authentication, and saved in the cloud in a password restricted dropbox folder which also uses multi-factor authentication.
Where co-mediation (using more than one mediator) takes place, both mediators will have a copy of the information for all parties in the mediation. They will utilise the same security processes as mentioned above.
What rights do you have over your data?
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Email data from mediation inquiries:
All data submitted will be held for 3 months unless requested to be removed earlier or we have made other arrangements with the user.
Do we sell your data?
NO, we do not sell your data to anyone, and we never would - your privacy is very important to us.
